GIVE FIGURINE
Tentatively, you pass the wooden figurine through the mouth of sorts, which seems to open wider. For a moment, you swear the figurine writhes in protest, contorting its sickle-shaped arm as if to grab hold of the mouth's lip. But the mouth suddenly clamps shut, cleaving off a section of the figurine.
A scream. Deafening, from multiple sources. Hollow, as if some natural quality that should be produced by the throat has been removed.
The monitor briefly flashes.
