a highly respected detective of holmes police department, hoffman is one of the last survivors in monroeville he is never seen leaving the area surrounding hpd and is known for making daily patrols in the nearby building and taking any survivors into safe areas he is also the person in charge of hpd due to the death of his boss, agent john simmons who died before the border was installed. as of now hoffman is still alive....and i plan to stay that way.
