The Early Days Of The Outbreak
Herbert was once one of the many firefighters protecting Malton's citizens from fiery deaths. when the viral outbreak first gripped the city he and his fellow fire fighters barricaded themselves into there fire house Bubcar Road Fire Station however they could not withstand the zombie onslaught, the barricades fell and the horde stormed in. Herbert saw his friends and colleagues devoured in-front of his very eyes. In the ensuing struggle to escape he was bitten and infected, desperately searching the streets for assistance he came across Keeton Miller whom had taken refuge in The Keats Hotel Keeton brought him in and applied general first aid saving Herberts life, Keeton reassured Herbert he would return once he got more fuel for the generator however after 2 days he was yet to return and herbert had to come to terms with the fact that he was most likely dead or trapped somewhere in the vast metropolis, he occasional branches out to the streets to slaughter zombies and search for fellow survivors, maintaining the barricades stay at VSB to give refuge to those less experienced survivors. (please note that as of august 10th 2009 herbert has abandoned the keats hotel)
