User:HighGenGrue/Why Arbitration and Misconduct are flaming bags of drama
Arbitration and Misconduct are massive hellholes of flamewarring, and makes up most drama involving admins.
Why (Arbitration)
Spin the Wheel of torture! Er, I mean Arbitrators.
The first part of the Arbitration system - choosing the poor HAZMAT Unit that wades into the flamewar. This is prime grounds for accusing who's biased and who isn't. Actually, no. it's a matter of who hates who. It really is.
This is something simple: an edit conflict on the The Northeastern War page. Saromu insists on listing me (a single player) as a separate faction in a war I was never involved in.--Luke Skywalker 14:35, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- I'll accept only AnimeSucks as Arbitatortot if you truly want to take this to Arby's, FaIco. --Sonny Corleone DORIS MSD pr0n 14:37, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- AnimeSucks is unacceptable.--Luke Skywalker 14:48, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- Then I refuse any other Arbitatortots. So according to the previous case, this is closed. Thank you. --Sonny Corleone DORIS MSD pr0n 14:57, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- That's fine with me. I rejected AnimeSucks because he's biased and his past arbitration experience is far from encouraging. As long as that page is unprotected I will be undoing your edits myself without further arbitration requests.--Luke Skywalker 15:07, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- No, it remains protected until something is settled on. You refused to settle it when I offered AnimeSucks. You are being stubborn. I offered to help you understand why you are involved but you decided to blank it. Several times actually. As the Defendent I can have this case thrown out if I do not accept any other Arbitatortot. You have a choice, throw out your case and have the page protected forever (or until the unprotect it when I ask and then have you brought up on vandalism because you refused Arby's to settle it) OR you can accept AnimeSucks, someone who is a witness and saw this action firsthand. Take your pick, buddy. --Sonny Corleone DORIS MSD pr0n 15:18, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- Actually, you're the stubborn one limiting all your "Arbitatortot" options to a single one.--Luke Skywalker
Whenever you hear "I'll accept only..." during an arbitration, YOU'RE FUCKED. Brown bread. Nicked. Whatever. The case is over; it's a biased dweeb who won't rule for you presented with a wiki's worth of evidence. The defendant can have a case tossed just by going "BOYS!" and summoning up a Hobson's choice. It's rude, unsettling, and won't get anything solved. The way to fix this problem would be to not allow limitations of choice, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO,, since, like the game, the wiki isn't allowed to change.
Poor Luke. He just wants a page unprotected, and he's thrown into a crocodile pit before the arbitration starts. Then I refuse any other Arbitatortots. So according to the previous case, this is closed. Thank you. Yeah, it's closed. Because if you can't have your way, it's the highway.
Stupid shit, that.
And now, for a postulate (because postulates are awesome); we'll call it the Tots Postulate. The closer an argument is to the right side of the screen, the more heated it is.
Also, if anybody doesn't want the arbitration case solved, then they just reject everyone.
OH SHI- (The actual arbitration)
YAAAAY! You've officially both agreed on the same thing! Well there are guaranteed 47 different uttterings of "fuck" in a arbitration case. Why? Because amongst the stupid piles of "evidence" that have no merit, various profanity, and the sysops calling on their friends to beat the poor fuck out of the guy, It's a massive flamewar.
