Description
Since the Malton incident, LiquidMetal has never referred to himself by his real name. The only clues to his identity are his military dogtag, which reads 08532178, and a small, tattered wallet-size photo of a young woman he keeps in the inside pocket of his jacket. The back of the photo reads "Come home safe to me" and is signed with a small heart symbol and the name "Stef." A Navy SEAL, 1st. Lieutenant LiquidMetal voluntarily offered to extend his services to Malton, but he drastically underestimated the severity of the zombie outbreak. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years. Gradually LiquidMetal began to accept the absurdity of his fate and stopped looking for a way out. He resolved to continue battling the outbreak as long as he continued to live. His combat skills, derived from years in the field, are as sharp as ever. Shotgun shells and pistol clips line his belt, as well as a standard-issue combat knife. Living nothing but the life of a zombie hunter, LiquidMetal has never had use for noncombat equipment.
Early Career
LiquidMetal graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA and was accepted into the United States Naval Academy, double-majoring in Engineering and Economics. After leaving the Naval Academy he rekindled an old flame with his high school sweetheart - the same young woman in the picture he carries, only known to others as "Stef." LiquidMetal was dispatched in several anti-terrorism stings throughout the Middle East, showing great prowess and level-headedness in the field. On one of his return trips home, he and the other SEALs at the base were asked to volunteer to be deployed in Malton. After discussing the situation with his girlfriend - at that time, they were living together and talks of proposal and marriage were arising - she reluctantly agreed to allow him to go, convinced that the Malton incident would not last long.
Now, LiquidMetal has been officially declared MIA, possibly KIA. In a few more weeks he will receive a posthumous promotion to Captain that he doesn't deserve. But LiquidMetal doesn't know any of this. All he knows is, he has to stay alive. And if that means the zombies die, so be it.
