Requiem For Urban Dead

(This story was brought on while simalteneouly listening to Free Bird and reading Matthewfarinheit's farewell.)

August 16th, 2013 Nick finally logged onto his character. He knew the end was near; it would only take Kevan's notice to shut down the game. By now, everything to be done was done.
At first, the numbers started to decline. Nobody wanted to play anymore. It was "ThunderCrisis 2013" and that new band, Regal Winnings that now had the attention of everyone. Plus the computer was to be obselete. The end was near. By about january, it was hard to find anyone else in the game. Fort Creedy sat ruined, long since ransacked by the 4th Big Bash. The last character that Nick had seen alive was hebelt642 in Giddings. They had shared a brief hello. Then hebelt642 announced the game was going to close soon. That was in June. The UD wiki closed on May 5th. By then, the mega groups DEM, Feral Undead and USAI were down to a handful of diehards. Nick wondered how such a thing could happen. Of course,
