Born Muschhaben, Germany, July 18th 1962. Dieter had a facination with reanimating dead things since he was a little boy. Disgusted, his parents threw him out onto the street. He stayed there for about ten minutes before getting bored, whereupon he wandered back home to find his parents brutally murdered. He reanimated their bodies using a roll of copper wire and a sack of potatoes, and from then on used them as his own personal bodyguards.
He eventually slid into a life of crime, using his "pets" to wander into places, steal stuff and then leave. Then one day he visited the Louvre and decided that all the wonderous paintings would be his one day. So he got his "pets" to steal some of those too. Now on the run from interpol, he has decided to change his name to Herbert West in order to allay suspicion, and got a job with Necrotech Malton. Since then, he has taken to stealing Malton's prized artworks and continues to do so. He vaguely suspects that the outbreak may have had something to do with that sample he accidentally dropped on the lad floor but he isn't sure. Noone saw it! They can't prove anything! [Insert Maniacal Laughter here]. On the day of the outbreak he was unconcious in a dustbin.
As of April 8th, Dieter is once again alive and terrorising Old Arkham by putting paintings up everywhere. Having grown up on the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, Dieter finds something about the suburb extremely relaxing, and intends to stay there until driven out by pitchfork wielding locals.
