Attached to Fireteam Sierra, U.S. Army Infantry bootcamp.

Codename Ravenzfire: It was his first assignment, a simple quarantine mission in some city called Malton. He really didn't care what it was, he was finally getting to see some action. He had gutted it out through boot and his hard work was finally starting to pay off. As the transport pulled into the city and came to a stop, he let his eyes wander over his new AO. As the other soldiers began to pile out of the transport he heard them grumbling to themselves about what a waste of time this assignment was going to be and how come they couldn't have been assigned to a unit that was actually going to do something. He followed the rest, taking a deep breath of the city air. Not quite as fresh as nice country air, but still not half bad for a city.

That would be the last breath of clean, fresh air he would take for a very long time...

It's been a few years and the cityscape has changed dramatically. No longer does he hear the sounds of traffic or the bustle of the city. Instead there is only silence, broken by the occasional scream or feeding groans of Malton's newest residents. The city is now under a full lockdown. Nothing gets in or out. Anyone left inside must fend for themselves and make due as best they can. His unit has long been dead. He has only survived this long through sheer determination. For a time he wandered around on his own, taking down the occasional Zed when he could, but mostly trying to find safety behind the barricades of quiet buildings. Sleep was once a necessity. Now it's just a luxury he can't afford to indulge in very often.

He has recently joined up with a military group calling themselves the U.S. Army Infantry. It consists of soldiers from various backgrounds, all coming together to seek safety in numbers and comfort in the rigors of military life. They grasp to any sort of normalcy from their previous lives. He finds himself back in boot, once again learning the ins and outs of how to operate in this unit. He is progressing well and finally able to give back a little of what he's been taking all these years.
