After the Outbreak, Ted Hanson awoke to find his family zombified and could take no more. All his friends were taken by the Outbreak too. Following this, he wanted to put his past behind him and the world to rights. He went straight down to County Hall to change his name, to Teds Dead, as Ted Hanson no longer existed.

He's on a mission to kill all zombies that are killing other people, but what he really wants is to help find a cure to bring his friends and family back to life. He sees killing Zombies as the eggs you have to smash to make an omlette, besides, once killed, it's not as if they can't come back to life anyway, so it's only a temporary thing!
