Noise Abatement Societies are [[:Category:Zombie Groups|zombie groups]] that concentrate on ruining one particular building and its surroundings. They are unlike the majority of zombie groups who are nomadic. 

The idea is that zombies cannot be moved from a block or permanently killed, so the building becomes a problem for local survivors. It is similar to [[Salt the earth|salt the earth]] in that each noise abatement society tries to keep their building ruined by sleeping inside, but the building may have little or no strategic significance.
