This is obviously essentially a C&P of the Outbreak page.  What do people think we ought to change? I suggest that the actual lexicon name space should be used this time. I know that it was created so it might as well be used. This Lexicon seems to be struggling a bit more than the last one (including my work; I've got a lot more crap to worry about now).  Anyway.  I notice that according to the schedule, MNOP is about to end, but the resource box says we're still on JKL and there are no articles for MNOP yet.
So.  Does anyone mind if we start MNOP articles?  Or should the schedule be changed to reflect the project's current...lethargy? Of all the lexicon players I checked in with 3 have responded, given the amount of time that has gone by I believe that it is safe to say that the others have gone inactive. With the decline in interest in the lexicon are there any ways we can make the lexicon easier to use or friendlier to new users, Lets hear your ideas.

With the old deadline system the were problems with articles being completed on time I propose that instead of setting a date in which all articles in a round is to be complete we say that each contributor can only write so many articles in each round. This way people could write when ever they want to but preventing one or two writers from creating a majority of the article and taking total control of the story. :That's sort of what we were doing now, but it would be good to codify it.  I'd like to keep the basic idea of rounds opening only when previous rounds are fleshed out.  My recommendations:
:* Normally, each player can only write one article per round.
:* A round will be opened only when the previous round is ''mostly'' completed (say, missing 3 articles or fewer).
:* If a previous round has available space, any player who has not written an article for that round may do so.
:*Once the final round is mostly completed, all unwritten articles are fair game for any player.  The "one article per person per round" rule is abandoned.

You might then want to claim an article that hasn't been written for and start typing. The Lexicon thrives on the different styles of writing that its members offer. If you're thinking about starting up, consider setting up an OOC forum, at least some place that the players can communicate about the Lexicon. I'm interested in joining, I've read a lot of the Outbreak and some of the Infection lexicon, yet I'm unsure who to talk to to find out how to join.  There's an open spot! I am very sorry I haven't been active for a few weeks, school work got piled on and I had some problems with the girls in my life. I should be back on later this week. Im doing edits in my english class and then I can get back to writing for the lexicon. As for using other sources, be sure to read all current articles to get the facts or make up some new ones. If you don't feel in the very creative mood, we always need editors! Im very pleased with the response to this revival and the harder and faster we work, the quicker this can be completed and we can move onto somethign bigger and better, or something new altogether.
