I think I know what this 'group' is really similar to. I think it's called [[Project Welcome]]. It does a lot of the similar things that this group does, funnily enough. :To keep a consistent style with the other projects, this page was heavily based off [[Project Welcome]] (and [[Project Mentor]] too), and certainly there is overlap between those two groups and Project Atmosphere in that a pleasant atmosphere can make the place more welcoming, and a 'Welcome!' message can make the place more pleasant. I think there is a significant difference in that the other projects focus on helping newbies, whereas this project would try to make the wiki a more friendly place for all editors, regardless of whether they've just arrived or whether they've been here since the wiki started. --[[User:Toejam|Toejam]] 14:04, 17 September 2007 (BST)

Hey, anything that makes it easier to integrate new people into the wiki. As a "pretty new user", I can say it was really hard to figure out how everything worked and was really intimidated by the "senior wiki users".. (still am a touch) But I'll chip in wherever & I however I can. I think this group is a great idea--{{:User:Airborne88/sig}} 02:39, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
