===Nathaniel Pollet (Pole)===

[[Malton]] has been home to many dark, strange men of great power and wealth.  Nathaniel Pollet (often Anglicised to Pole) was not a dark, strange man. He did not come from wealth, but power, on the other hand, is something he had in great abundance. As a diplomat's son, Nathaniel had access to connections from governments to guerilla fighters on nearly every continent that supported life.  Among with the other "leading lights" of [[Dartside]], it would be his behind-the-scenes maneuvers that would provide them with the edge they needed to bring their dreams true.

To this day, no one knows why the four men, Pollet, [[The Bowerman Family|Bowerman]], [[The Downe Family|Downe]] and [[The Morliere Family|Morliere]], chose Dartside. What is known is they allowed a town, with a small river that ran through it, to become the suburb that it is today.
