Nathaniel Pollet (Pole)

Malton has been home to many dark, strange men of great power and wealth. Nathaniel Pollet (often Anglicised to Pole) was not a dark, strange man. He did not come from wealth, but power, on the other hand, is something he had in great abundance. As a diplomat's son, Nathaniel had access to connections from governments to guerilla fighters on nearly every continent that supported life. Among with the other "leading lights" of Dartside, it would be his behind-the-scenes maneuvers that would provide them with the edge they needed to bring their dreams true.

To this day, no one knows why the four men, Pollet, Bowerman, Downe and Morliere, chose Dartside. What is known is they allowed a town, with a small river that ran through it, to become the suburb that it is today.
