The Morliere Family
Christoff Morliere
To those who still know his name, Christoff Morliere is a rememberance of a city known for it's colorful past. Together with Gregory Downe, Nathaniel Pollet & Joshua Bowerman, they built the town now called Dartside. Christoff was known as "the Iron Hand", gaining this nickname as a child fighting in school yards, which later on graduated to bar brawls. The only thing quicker than his hand was his wit and ability to think fast - it served him well in the streets and even better in the boardrooms.
It took Christoff only 3 short years after graduating university to buy into the fledgling railroad which would come to bear his family name - the Morliere Railway, based out of Dartside. He paved the way for 3 more fledgling railways and together they made it possible for other businesses to establish commerce in the small, riverside town that eventually grew into the Dartside that you see today.
His influence is felt all over Dartside, and odds are there isn't a single building that can't trace it's infancy to the Morliere family's railroad origins.
