Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

Description

Club Frankland is the headquarters for the Lockettside Boys, also known as the Lobos, used for drunken parties, mobilizing karaoke tours, games of newspaper tag, and often also used as a stronghold while trying to fight off the undead forces. The building is open to anyone seeking refuge or mind blowing alchohol, but the Lobos strongly enforce a no PKing rule and a ten drink minimum. It is a medium sized building with a long, fully stocked and functional bar along the back and a large dance floor in the center of the building. Few tables, chairs, or stools remain in the building, most having been used to pile a barricade around the front door. The DJ booth is running, blasting heavy metal and occasionaly Enya over the speakers. Colorful lights flash around the top of the club, some in patterns and some at random. The entire inside walls have been covered in spraypaint, a giant picture of Jackhammer beer sits next to the dance floor.

The cellar door has a large lock on it and a sign which reads,"Don't open!".

History

For lengthy periods between late 2005 and mid-2006 Club Frankland was maintained as a safe house and entry point for the group know as The Soapmakers during their period of residence in Lockettside.

During this time it saw visits by the Malton Marathon runners and managed to remain in business through a variety of passing Zombie attacks, notably under the stewardship of Kevin Cox. During this time great efforts were made to maintain the club as an entry point, as well as the home of some of the finest cocktail evenings in Malton under the quarantine. Cox left the area after becoming disenfranchised with numerous attacks on the club by certain unsavoury elements.

Barricade Policy

Keep at EHB.
