This building should be Extremely Heavily (EH) barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the barricade plans set forth by local survivors, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors who maintain the nearby Culling Building, and thus requires the Free Running  skill to be properly utilized. Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building and to provide further assurance for those using the Culling Building.

The factory is currently attended by a Canadian who goes by the name Selucian and his right hand man, known as Felias. Each of these men have the goal of providing support for the nearby Culling Building and its scientist users and as a general, fair use safe house. The keepers wish it to be run as a co op with contributions from visitors as a means of compensation. It is being maintained according to this, and is run as efficiently as possible. Given the open space and vast square footage of the building, this task difficult and by no means renders it absent from danger. It can be found destroyed and raided equally as often as other buildings in the neighbourhood, but by no means will Selucian and Felias leave it dilapidated for extended periods of time. The overall status of the building is occupied (Selucian's permanent residence) and available as a safe house, especially in contingency for the Culling Building.

Description

History

Prior to the zombie outbreak the 38,63 factory was the site of the Cadbury World chocolate factory.

Maltons Cadbury World opened in July 1998. This was one of the largest factories in Malton that also offered tours and became very popular with tourists visiting Malton. There are only two Cadbury World centres in the world, the other being Cadbury World, Birmingham.

The full factory tour took approximately 75 minutes and included the Visitors' Centre, chocolate samples, a short movie about the history of the Malton factory and Cadbury's in general, followed by a tour around the factory. The tour culminated in the chocolate fall, which is housed in a five-story decommissioned crumb silo.

During the outbreak the factory was abandoned. Some say its still possible to find discarded easter eggs and milk trays, and even the odd zombified tourguide can be seen wandering the halls draging behind them a trail of sample chocolate and tourist photos.

Barricade Policy
