Description

The Backholer Museum is a Skeleton museum located in the suburb of Pescodside alongside the border with Rolt Heights to the west. The Backholer Museum was designed by Theodor Höijer and completed in 1927. The facade of the Backholer is decorated with statues and reliefs which contain a treasure trove of symbolism. Above the main entrance, in the second floor, busts of three famous classical artists: architect Bramante, painter Rafael and sculpter Phidias. Above the busts, in the third floor, 4 caryatids supporting the pediment. These symbolize the four classical artforms: architecure, painting, sculpting, and music. The facade culminates in the pediments collage of sculptures in which the Goddess of Art is blessing the products of the different artforms.

The museum is famous for its "Royal Toy Exhibit", which represents a collection of toys collected from royal families from around the world and throughout the ages. From the simple, yet spectacularly expensive, golden ducky of Prince Rama-dama Dingdong, to the intricate clockwork ballerina dancers of Princess Barbie Mattel. The collection has since remained the museum's main attraction, long after the "Malton Incident" drove most tourists from the city.

History

Barricade Policy

This building should be extremely heavily barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Pescodside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups, Petting Zoo policy and the Dulston Alliance, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the Dulston Alliance or a vigilante-minded survivor who catches the culprit in the act. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.
