I've started working on updating all out-of-date statuses with unknown.  I'm going by building type, leaving no comment, and just copypasta'ing the unknown to everything older than one month (or close).  I don't suspect anyone else really has a desire to do this, but if a) you are willing to help or b) know a better way to go about it, I'd be happy with help.  At the moment, I'm just starting with auto repairs opening every page, doing a quick check if it's out-of-date and clicking edit if it is.  If it's in-date or already unknown, I close the tab.  Then based on what loads where I start making changes and close them, moving on to another 10-20 pages when finished.  Basically, I'm doing it as a slow bot, it's boring but relatively human-quick.  If you are willing to help pick a building type, lay claim here (strike-thru the type), and start unknowning.

Building Update Sept 2014

I'd been going with a 4-month cutoff (based on a comment Bob made a long while back about a month being too short), but here's what I'd been doing, going suburb-by-suburb instead of by building type: User:Jen/Danger_Report_Cleanup. Had been using pretty much the same human-bot process as you. I've kinda dropped off the face of the wiki earth again, and may not be back for a while, but if I think I'll have a spare day or three, I'll pick a building type and knock it out. -- Jen T | SFHNAS | PK 04:48, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
I'll probably stick with 30 days. I'm not planning on any on-going updating/reviewing. I just want to see what the dangermap/center, or whatever the map that shows all the statuses is called, looks like once the outdated reports are gone. --K 21:29, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

Scouting Operation

That's a great idea, but as you say it's also extremely time-consuming. If you want, i can keep updated all of Kempsterbank (I'm a Knights Templar member), and my secondary and tertiary characters can do the same for Stanbury Village (temporary location, heading NE to spread all the 3 characters) and Quarlesbank so i offload some work from you.

Your work is really appreciated, keep it up!
