Gawade Bank

Description

A large 19th century building, it's stain glassed windows long removed and the artistic woodwork now missing.

History

Gawade Bank held the accounts of some of the richest people in North Malton. This was all to change after Lord Pitman erratically demanded his money, all off it, out of the bank for reasons best known to himself. This started a scare as the other account holders feared the bank was going under and tried to with draw all their funds too. The bank went under and the manager tried to commit suicide. As he rose to live again people finally realized the outbreak had entered their once wonderful suburb.
