History
The Moran Brewery was founded in the 1950's and provided alcohol (mostly beer) for the various stadiums and bars around Malton, especially Floyd Stadium. It specialized in dark beer, and was famous for using only organic products. An inquisition by scientists in the late 1970's discovered that the brewery had, in fact, been using many chemicals and additives for the purpose of flavouring their "Spiced Beer". The company was subject to a class-action lawsuit, and all but 200 workers were laid off by 1984. Slightly before the outbreak, Moran Brewery was experiencing an economic and PR comeback.
