Birth of the Birdman

Aves Birdman was, prior to the undead apocalypse, an intern to a zoologist at the Malton Zoo named Edward Flight. He was studying to become a bird specialist and had high hopes to get a position in the zoo someday, but the zombies had a different plan for this poor civilian. On first contact with an undead individual, Edward survived by locking himself in the aviary with dozens of birds, but first he suffered a serious bite and wound to the head. Delirious from pain and sorrow (his attackers consisted mainly of his coworkers), Edward's mind snapped and he adopted a new persona: that of Aves Birdman, who's very existence was inspired by his majestic and feathered flying friends. When released and healed several days later by a group of passing survivors, a new man emerged. This man was still an intellectual and still made many knowledgeable and scientific references (oftentimes bird references), and he visibly so it would be difficult to label him crazy. "Unstable" is a more fitting term, for he often plunges headfirst - or beakfirst, as he might put it - into situations that a normal person would view as detrimental.

There is only one thing known for certain about the man who goes by Aves Birdman: his ongoing hatred towards the undead will never cease, and his furious will to drive the zombie hordes before his firepower will lead him into situations that any "stable" person would find inconceivable, impassable, and impossible. These are the adventures that Aves craves.

Caught up with Classy Folk

After a few weeks of wandering the suburbs around the zoo and trying to get used to the ways of the new world, an interesting group of survivors arrived in the area. They called themselves the Channel 4 News Team (C4NT); their hair was perfect, they smelled of scotch, and they carried tridents. Their manner captivated Aves and he quickly joined their ranks, but remained in the background and followed them blindly throughout their exploits.

Before too long, the News Team set their sights on the suburb of Ridleybank. Fascinated by their notion of battle, Aves soon found himself in the heart of the most feared and infected suburb in all of Malton. He found his home during the Battle of the Blackmore, and it wasn't until the Blackmore's fall that Aves finally surrendered to the will of the undead.
