A number of zombie skills are usable by and useful to survivors.
Zombie Skills
Bold skills are usable by survivors.
*Starred* skills are prerequisites of skills usable by survivors.
Skill | Usable? | Comments |
---|---|---|
*Scent Fear* | No effect | Must be purchased in order to get Scent Death. |
Scent Blood | No effect | The Survivor skill Diagnosis is similar to Scent Blood. The main differences are that zombies can use either Scent Blood or Diagnosis, while survivors can't use Scent Blood; and Scent Blood reveals infections, while Diagnosis doesn't. (Survivors can NOT use Scent Blood to detect infections.) |
Scent Trail | No effect | |
Scent Death | Usable | Allows survivors to distinguish between normal corpses and revivifying bodies. The action 'Scent Death' can't be used though. |
Digestion | No effect | Survivors can't bite. |
Infectious Bite | No effect | Survivors can't bite. |
Vigour Mortis | No effect | |
Neck Lurch | No effect | Survivors can't bite. |
Death Grip | No effect | Survivors don't have claws. |
Rend Flesh | No effect | Survivors don't have claws. |
Tangling Grasp | No effect | Survivors don't have claws. |

Memories of Life | No effect | Survivors can move through doors without this. |

Flailing Gesture | No effect | |
*Lurching Gait* | No effect | Survivors can move for 1 AP without this. Must be purchased in order to get Ankle Grab.
It is, however, useful for any dead survivor traveling to a revival point. |
Ankle Grab | Usable | Allows survivors to stand up for 1 AP. |
*Brain Rot* | No effect | Makes reviving more difficult - used by survivors wishing to add difficulty to their game (although it has no effect when alive.) |
Flesh Rot | Usable | Has the same effect as Bodybuilding and a flak jacket, but doesn't stack. |
