When does Action Point regeneration occur? Do all characters regain 1 AP every 30 minutes (as determined by the server)? :As far as I can tell, Action Points are restored in profile-number order, starting on the hour and half-hour mark, and sped up or slowed down by server load. With a profile that was started in the early 2010's, mine ticks somewhere from 5-10 minutes after the half-hour mark; new profiles might get theirs later. So only the oldest profiles get theirs updated immediately. This is just an anecdotal theory, and I don't have screenshots etc. for proof, so maybe a more thorough study would conclude otherwise. {{User:Bob Moncrief/Sig}} 11:52, 6 October 2018 (UTC) | |||
:AP regeneration happens 30 minutes after the exact time you use an action point from the max of 50. Example: you're at 50AP, you use some AP at 15:25, you'll get a point back at 15:55 (and then again at 16:25 and 16:55 and so on, until you hit 50 again.) --{{User:RenegadeRomero/Sig}} 13:23, 6 October 2018 (UTC) |

Just Some Noise about AP Consumption
Why is it that being told that you cannot use an item consumes an Action Point? I don't have a shotgun yet, and it's been a while since I've played this game so I wanted to see if there was any flavor text for clicking on a shotgun shell without one. Sadly, there was none, and it consumed my final point for the day.
In in-game terms my character pulled out a slug, looked at it intently and promptly fell asleep. And I know that I should be viewing it more as a game abstract -- but I like playing games. I like playing this game. A game that, in a very real sense, has a time limit each day you log in. From an RPG perspective, it just feels sloppy when the game taxes you over things that arbitrary —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Punchbattle (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.
