INSPECT


A machine.

Cool to the touch. Long, ornate geometry, and only an occasional hard corner. Metal and glass, with bulbs, protrusions, vibrations. Rotations. A keyhole.

Intermittent shivering, as if longing for warmth. Something stirring within, obviously significant. It waits for you.

Your hands encounter a loose panel. It flips open with your touch, revealing a monitor.

A line of text, blinking, annoyed.

The choice is irrevocable.
