History
Opened already in the 1920's the cinema had a long and changing history. It started as the Orient Cinema. After the company went bankrupt in the economic crisis of 1929 the cinema reopened in 1936 as the Stapleton Movie Theater. After several owner and name changes it got its modern name shortly before the outbreak. Sometimes you can still see a movie here, given a survivor is there to run the equipment.
Barricade Policy
Though the Richmond Hills Barricade Plan states that this building should remain at EHB, Doctor Oberman stated on 2 September 2007 that this building should be kept at VS++, and the The Rhoades Building be at EHB (rather than VS++). As these appear to be current active strategic locations, assume that they are at the requested statuses, though the do deviate from the Plan. --cuio (talk) (NW) 17:15, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
