just a question here...now you say "Big Rock is just a generic term for any big heavy object" is this a term from somewhere? like in england? i only ask because as far as i know it's not a term here in canada, anyone else heard this term before?--'BPTmz 04:31, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- He means in terms of this suggestion, so that people don't kill it because "OMGZ! TEH BATTERYZ ISH NOT BIG!" Nalikill TALK E! W! M! USAI 04:44, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, its just shorthand for "Disposable Large Heavy Blunt Improvised Weapon". I actually got the term form a Batman (cartoon) episode where all the villains are sitting around bragging about how they alsmot killed Batman, and when its Croc's turn, all he can say is he threw a rock at Batman and almost hit him. When everybody else looks at him like he's a moron he defends himself with "well, it was a BIG rock...". :P (side note: None of the other villains had any better story, really- they all pretty much amounted to bigger, fancier rocks that still missed.) Eh, I don't know if your suggestion should go in, but if it does maybe Actingupagain's eye scratch idea could be combined with it. Like, if the big rock hits someone the blow to the head causes disorientation and blurs their vision. Here's the part Actingupagain's idea that I'd integrate: "As a result, the survivor cannot see past the city block he currently occupies (exactly like the fog we get on Halloween). Duration lasts for the next 15 AP that survivor uses - exception being if he rises as a zombie (effects of Eye Scratch disappear with death, just like Scent Trail)." Just change the flavor from being caused by scratching to bashing. Heck, you could even have it work on zombies if they wouldn't get hit by rubble too often, and the effect would disappear if they got killed or used 15 AP, just like with survivors. Whaddaya think? --Ms.Panes 14:24, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Re: to Funt's vote
Quote: "There seem enough weapons in the game already." Does the addition of more weapons put us at a risk of having too much fun? I'm not really sure what you're getting at here and would like some more clarification. --PdeqTalk* 23:06, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
