It is believed that he did not produce any notable writing during this time, but a later city planner noted the fact and decided to rename the current Mulberry Drive after the author. This street in Dunell Hills is named, in a roundabout way, after the author Ernest Hemingway. The writer spent a short amount of time in a boarding house on the street during his time as an Amex (American Expatriate).
