Local residents coined the nickname 'Chitty Walk' after the famous 'Chitty' Cinema in Quarlesbank as it seemed apt that something that was once so beautiful could become so 'Chitty'.

Basic Info:

  • A Street is a city block containing no buildings or monuments. There are a variety of other names besides Street including Alley, Avenue, Boulevard, Drive, Grove, Lane, Row, Square, Walk, Place, etc.

Chitty Walk is located in the central part of East Boundwood.

This now decayed promenade was once the most splendid of manicured walkways the city had ever seen. Originally it was named Roseway and like the name was lined from end to end with rosebushes. Amongst the roses were areas one could sit and read while watching the world go by. Unfortunately as with everything, it had to end...
