FOXHOUND About Us - News/History - Membership - Bases of Operation Joining FOXHOUND Joining FOXHOUND So you're interested in joining FOXHOUND? Glad to hear it soldier! FOXHOUND is always looking for the best of the best, and you could just be what we're looking for in a member. To join us all you need to do is sign-up on the FOXHOUND forum and then post a link to your character profile in the enlistment thread. It is recommended that when you sign-up on the forum that you use the name of your survivor as your username (but this is not required). After approval has been granted, your survivor has official approval the edit their group affiliation to FOXHOUND. The "all caps" version of the group name is required. After this has been accomplished you are considered a new Recruit rank member (see below for more information on ranks). If you are an old member of FOXHOUND and would like to be re-added to the official members list below contact the forums please. If you would like to join FOXHOUND as a freelancer please tell us. It is not a requirement you visit the forum, though it's highly suggested, but we do recommend you at least carry a cell phone in-game. How to earn RP. Collect bounties: Post pictures or an iWitness of you collecting a bounty. All bounties are worth the same, 3 RP. Tagging: Post pic of you tagging a building with the FOXHOUND tag. 1 RP. *Note*: Do not tag ally HQ's or over an ally's tag. Killing zombies: Post pic or iWitness of you killing zombie(s). 2 RP per kill. Reviving fellow FOXHOUND members: Post pic or have the revivee say that you did the deed. 6 RP per revive. Participation in Ops: As described, RP varies. Securing a building: For a regular building 5 RP. For a TRP: 7 RP. Referring a member: Persuading someone to join FOXHOUND. 10 RP. Barricading TRP that is under siege: Take an iWitness or screen cap of you barricading a building up a level to earn 1 point for every level achieved. Example: The building is VS++ you barricade to Heavily... *screen cap* 1 point. You barricade again to VHB... *screen cap* another point. --- 1 RP per 'cade level. Healing fellow FOXHOUND members: 2 RP per heal. More will or may be added. When enough RP is earned you can use them to "buy" a higher rank, badge, or hell maybe even be the commander for a week or two! FOXHOUND Ranks FOXHOUND Ranks It should be noted that all member promotions are either assigned by the BIG BOSS or acquired by submitting a formal request indicating they have met all the requirements to attain the next rank. Once confirmed, the BIG BOSS or a Fox-rank member has the authority to promote the member. Members of this rank are required to heed the orders of the BIG BOSS and all Fox/Snake rank members. At this rank soldiers do not yet have access to the group's private forum section. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: Any Tour of Duty: N/A RP needed: N/A Son of Liberty - A soldier who has been officially recognized as being a "dedicated" member. Soldiers of this rank are required to heed the orders of the BIG BOSS and all Fox/Snake rank members. To obtain this rank a soldier must have been an active member for at least 4 weeks and have at least obtained level 5. At this rank soldiers have access to the group's private forum section. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: 5 (Minimum) Tour of Duty: 4 weeks (1 month) RP needed: 50 Ocelot - A soldier who is recognized as a "veteran" member. Soldiers of this rank are required to heed the orders of the BIG BOSS and all Fox/Snake rank members. To obtain this rank a soldier must have been an active member for at least 6 weeks and have at least obtained level 15. At this rank soldiers have access to the group's private forum section. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: 15 (Minimum) Tour of Duty: 6 weeks (1 1/2 months) RP needed: 100 Snake - A soldier who is recognized as an "elite" member. Soldiers of this rank are required to heed the orders of the BIG BOSS and all Fox rank members. To obtain this rank a soldier must have been an active member for at least 10 weeks and have at least obtained level 24. At this rank soldiers have access to the group's private forum section. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: 26* Tour of Duty: 10 weeks (2 1/2 months) RP needed: 200 *All Survivor skills, plus Lurching Gait, Ankle Grab, Memories of Life, and Flailing Gesture or Death Rattle (to quicken the revive process). Fox - A trusted and capable soldier, this rank signifies a member who is deemed worthy of field command as a team leader. This rank is assigned by BIG BOSS, or in some cases, by the most-veteran Fox member. In order to be considered for promotion to this rank a soldier must first be Snake rank. Once promoted, the new Fox rank member is usually assigned as leader of a team. At this rank soldiers have access to the group's private forum section, as well as some Admin privileges. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: 40 Tour of Duty: 16 weeks (4 months), Snake rank (Minimum) RP needed: 300 Gray Fox - The Second-in-Command of FOXHOUND. This rank is only obtained when there is no current Gray Fox and only the Big Boss can give out this rank. If for some reason there is no Gray Fox or Big Boss at the same time, the FOX ranks will decide who becomes what. The Gray Fox handles most foreign affairs and coordinates efforts. Makes most decisions within FOXHOUND with exception of huge decisions that affect the group. Answers only to Big Boss. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite:40 or 41 Tour of Duty: 16 weeks (4 months), Fox rank (Minimum) RP needed: N/A BIG BOSS - The supreme leader of FOXHOUND. This rank can only be obtained when the previous BIG BOSS retires and chooses a replacement; or if the current BIG BOSS is MIA, the most-veteran Fox member will be promoted to this rank after approval is granted from all other Fox rank members. While the BIG BOSS will usually discuss all group tactical plans with FOXHOUND members or classified plans with Fox rank members, it should be remembered that the commands of the BIG BOSS are final and must always be heeded by all group members. BIG BOSS serves as the Super-Admin for the group's forum. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: N/A (<12) Tour of Duty: N/A RP needed: N/A Secret Agent - The rank a freelance survivor (between Level 13 to 30) acquires upon forging an alliance with FOXHOUND. An "Agent" rank freelancer earns this new rank upon obtaining Level 13. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: 13 Tour of Duty: N/A RP needed: N/A Double Agent - The rank a freelance survivor (Level 31 and above) acquires upon forging an alliance with FOXHOUND. A "Secret Agent" rank freelancer earns this new rank upon obtaining Level 31. This is the highest rank tier that a freelance ally can obtain without joining FOXHOUND. Summary Requirements Level Pre-requisite: 31 Tour of Duty: N/A RP needed: N/A Retired Members Retired Members Here FOXHOUND honors those members who have disappeared (MIA) and/or passed from this world (KIA). It should be noted that this list also includes members who have since joined other groups, and while former members, FOXHOUND is not liable for their actions once they have left. We would hope though that all former members uphold the respect of FOXHOUND by staying commited to the survivor cause. In Memorium Among those who no longer serve with FOXHOUND these members were once considered the "best of the best". They are considered men will always be remembered for their roles in leading FOXHOUND to greatness. They are: La Plaga (January 3rd, 2006 - August 8th, 2006): Our greatest member and the original Big Boss. The founder of FOXHOUND, he was original leader of us all. He was known to inspire fear in PKers and zombies alike. It was under his leadership that FOXHOUND joined the Dulston Alliance and became the organization's mobile military strength. But above all he was a leader and a comrade. He will be missed by all. Rikogen "Eduardo Tapia" (February 2nd, 2006 - August 26th, 2006): Without a doubt, in his day he was considered the brains behind FOXHOUND. Not only the leader of the FOXHOUND HUNTERS team, he was also the creator of the group forums. He will be remembered as a great leader and a damn fun drunk. He will be missed on the battlefield. x1ViRuS1x (August 8th, 2006 - April 21st, 2007): Virus was the guy that took over at the helm after La Plaga retired. During his reign over FOXHOUND there was a huge time of inactivity, not just within the group, but within Urban Dead altogether. He wasn't really given the opportunity to show his leadership skills as Big Boss, but he will be remembered as a great soldier alongside La Plaga and Rikogen. Together they were considered the three founding fathers of FOXHOUND. conno30001 (April 21st, 2007 - January 17th, 2009): Conno30001 took up the job as FOXHOUND's third Big Boss. During his time as leader relations with the Dulston Alliance were re-established and efforts were made to reign-in the growing zombie threat that now plagued the northeast more so than any time before.
