Description

Woodland Cinema is a cinema located in the suburb of Rhodenbank. The cinema was but one location in a chain of Warren Theaters found throughout Malton. It is controlled by the Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps and the building serves as a part of the Rhodenbank Highway for non-Free Runners.

Now Playing

Woodland Cinema has a wide range of movies that, at least at the time of the outbreak, were considered "new releases". At this time all but one of the cinemas 8 theater rooms has gone silent. Theater #3 is currently playing The Silence Of The Lambs (1991). While hardly new, even when factoring in the time the outbreak occurred, it is more likely this particular movie was retrieved and setup to play by a tech-savvy survivor.

Mandate

Survivors are asked to report the current status of the cinema so that all avid moviegoers will know what to expect when they arrive. Survivors who do arrive are asked to adhere to the following procedure:

  1. Retrieve popcorn and soda from the snack bar (if any).
  2. Sit in one of the theater rooms still playing a movie.
  3. Watch the movie.
  4. Go to bathroom.
  5. Repeat from Step 1.

To review what movies are currently playing at the theater please refer to Now Playing for all your movie updates.

Barricade Policy

Please keep this building at VSB.

This building is a part of the Rhodenbank Highway, a series of buildings that are always Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded so that inexperienced survivors without the Free Running skill will still be able to find a series of adjacent safehouses that they can enter while traveling through the suburb. This is in accordance with the suburb barricade plan enforced by the Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps.

If the building is ever under attack from five or more zombies only then are survivors granted permission to barricade beyond Very Strongly, but only until the threat has passed. Survivors are warned that all members of the RCDC who find the barricades raised higher than Very Strongly have the right to lower them if there is no immediate threat to the building at that time.

Current Events

November 25th, 2009 - View from across the street indicates the cinema is ruined mostly likely due to recent MOB incursion. --OO Willie 05:08, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
