Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

Club Knyps was a strip club located in the suburb of Rhodenbank. Prior to the "Malton Incident", Club Knyps was rumoured to be a front for the Russian Mafia, operating in Malton. These claims were never proven and there is nothing left in the club to suggest it, either.

Club Knyps was esteemed as the most desirable and, at the same time, most racy of clubs in Rhodenbank.

Barricade Policy

Please keep this building at VSB.

This building is a part of the Rhodenbank Highway, a series of buildings that are always Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded so that inexperienced survivors without the Free Running skill will still be able to find a series of adjacent safehouses that they can enter while traveling through the suburb. This is in accordance with the suburb barricade plan enforced by the Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps.

If the building is ever under attack from five or more zombies only then are survivors granted permission to barricade beyond Very Strongly, but only until the threat has passed. Survivors are warned that all members of the RCDC who find the barricades raised higher than Very Strongly have the right to lower them if there is no immediate threat to the building at that time.

Nothing. At this time there is no DJ in Club Knyps, and thus a serious lack of tunes playing.

Current Events

March 12th, 2010 - Overcaded at VHB. Tried to break down the cades, but ended up wasting half a day. --Destroyerofminds 19:57, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

December 13th, 2009 - building ruined and probably was since the MOB invasion --OO Willie 14:44, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

September 21st, 2009 VSB up with power gen but no juice. I have fuel but decided not to power up the gen due to zombie presence in the nearby motel plus not a strategic location. Will return later for rest. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by OO Willie (talkcontribs) 05:51, 21 September 2009 (UTC).

March 6th, 2007 - The Drama Club attempted to stage "Army of Darkness" as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. They visited Club Knyps looking to perform their play, but found no audience here. As such, they made an impromptu performance at St. Helier's Hospital instead.
