The name is most likely an alias as there is no record of an Isaac Grey prior to the outbreak in Malton, he has never spoken about his past to anyone, and keeps his face hidden behind a blood-flecked, white facemask at all times, possibly to avoid identification. During the early days of the outbreak he was a member of the Dunell Hills Police Department. He was disappointed in their policies with people who "saw tommorrow as uncertain, so they live only for today, doing whatever they like. They drink all day, destroy barricades and generators, get purposely infected and die in a building full of other survivors, and spam the airwaves and the ears of others with their stupidity."
