I woke up in the the Whippey NecroTech Building. I had been recently transfered to Shearbank I don't know how long I've been out. I'm hungry as hell, which is funny because I thought the overwhelming stench of rotting corpses and just plain death would quell my hunger. I guess not.
I set out to find some food first. The most logical place would be the Stickling Mall. I made my way across the street and say recently dead corpses. I guess I was lucky, because I had missed the battle and now I could forage for some food.
I found some food. While I was eating I noticed some Zombies walking around the streets without purpose. I figured that it was still my duty to research the undead, and I set about scanning them with my DNA Extractor. I knew some of them...I don't know how to feel about that. I guess it's good that I'm helping find a cure rather than taking a barbaric approach and just putting one in the head. I don't even know how to use a gun.
It's getting dark. I need to find a place to sleep. While I was out scanning the Zombies, I noticed a distant murmur coming from the Lazarus General Hospital.
Thank the Lord! Survivors! I was beginning to think I was the only one. I don't want to get too excited, but I think that this Hospital could act as a safe house.

I've been venturing out into the streets of Shearbank and looking for more Zombies to scan. I've found a couple, but mostly they are beginning to be the same ones over and over, albeit with a bit more deterioration. I may have to move on soon.
I woke up sometimes in the evening, and set up north into Raines Hills. I found a couple zombies on the way, scanned them, and noticed alot of them had Brain Rot. Oh well...you can't save them all. I realized I might need a radio to better coordinate with other survivors. I spotted a police station on set about searching the radio. I only found a flak jacket and a shotgun shell though...

Woke up in the police station in Raines Hills. Although I only came here yesterday, I got the feeling that there was more for me back in Shearbank. Something in my mind made me run from that place, just like I did so many years ago. But that transfer...I can't shake the feeling of divine intervention. I mean, I'd left Shearbank and gone to Whittenside, to get away from all my demons. Away from my parents, away from my friends, away from my enemies. But that reassingment to Shearbank, was that some way of God taking his revenge on me. Making me go back to face those demons?
Ha, funny thing is they actually are demons now. The literal manifestation of my past...
Could I have caused this?
That's enough looking back on the past for now. Turning my attention to the bright future, I searched the nearby Whippey Building for some syringes. Found two, but I'm too tired to go out tonight and use them. I think the survivors have set up a revive point just north of here.

February 22nd, 2011

Woke up and found a couple more syringes. At the break of dawn I left the Whippey Building and noticed a couple more zombies than the day before.
During the night a few survivors came into the building, and they immeadiately set about fixing up the barricades. I slept through it mostly, not knowing anything about construction.
Back to the increasing number of zombies. I saw a few of them that didn't look familiar, so I set about scanning them. No brain rot. Good. One of the survivors from last night had told me about a revive point just one block north of the NT building. I walked over there, cautiously avoiding zombies, and saw two zombies just standing there.
Fascinating. Somehow, they retained basic brain function, or some sort of memory, and knew that this was a revive point. So odd. I'll have to research this further.
Getting back on track, I injected the zombies with some syrninges, and presto! Good as new. Well, not really, but atleast they weren't dead. un dead. Undead. I'm not too sure anymore. Life and death has become something more of an inconvienience than the end.
I walked to the church next to the NT building and slept for the night.

Things to do

  1. Find a radio
  2. Hook up with other survivors
  3. Scan as many zombies as I can
  4. Find a NecroTech building I can get into and start reviving zombies!

Known "Rotters"
