I'm on a template making spree, and you've just become the next casualty in my mad quest to play on names for as many people as I can think of. Enjoy! --[[User:Tselita|Tselita]] 21:52, 25 June 2008 (BST)
Please go to http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/UDWiki:Administration/Deletions and vote Keep so that the Grimch doesn't try to delete the template I made for you (and others). Thank you. --[[User:Tselita|Tselita]] 13:17, 27 June 2008 (BST)

===Speaking of which===
I have returned to make the rounds on the Templates that I put in place for [[Project Welcome]]. I already chewed out [[User:Krazy Monkey|Cheese]] for dicking with the <nowiki>{{WN}}</nowiki> template, and so I have come to shower praise upon you for locking the <nowiki>{{WN?}}</nowiki> template. Good job. --{{User:Axe27/Sig}} 21:51, 12 July 2008 (BST)

let me see... you agree that the precedence is silly, you agree that its not misconduct, you even agree that this is an even more complicated case than mine... yet you dont think its needed to overule the darn precedence ? You like having your hands tied as you do your job gnome? you like the drama that will be created in future cases where both my precedence and nubis precedence (that its gonna be created if this is simply ruled not misconduct) are cited, and the side with the most vitrol opinion will have his way ? --[[User:Hagnat|People's Commissar Hagnat]] [[User talk:Hagnat|talk]] - [[Special:Listusers/sysop|mod]] 02:20, 8 June 2008 (BST)
:I don't think it's appropiate to overrule the last case, unless that's not what you meant. Having this as not misconduct creates the new precedence, no? --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 02:22, 8 June 2008 (BST)
::No, because you are then agreeing with karek that protecting images is not the same as protecting pages, which then means its not the same thing, which means that both my cases and nubis case can be used in the future as precedence to misconduct other sysops. I wont force you to vote my way or another, but my previous case ruling was ridiculous and this case just proves it.  --[[User:Hagnat|People's Commissar Hagnat]] [[User talk:Hagnat|talk]] - [[Special:Listusers/sysop|mod]] 02:31, 8 June 2008 (BST)
:::I will get back to you on that... --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 04:38, 9 June 2008 (BST)
:The two precedences match up perfectly fine Hagnat, you're creating drama now, requesting an impossible task, for whatever reason I do not know, but it seems to me like you're just trying to vent at people you think are responsible for your misconduct archive and are using Nubis' case as an excuse to do it. Your case was barely ruled misconduct anyway, look back over the rulings and the discussion from the sysops involved, the deciding factors were the number of pages, the viability of doing it the proper way, and your past with circumventing procedures.--<small>[[User:Karek#K|Karek]]<font face="Monotype Corsiva">[[User:Karek/ProjDev/OmegaMap|maps?!]]</font></small> 02:29, 8 June 2008 (BST)
::i already explaned my reasons in the misconduct case. My case was barely ruled misconduct, yet grim and others are using this and several other small cases he created as reason to get my demotion. If it's a silly precedence, if its a barely reach ruling, and if people dont want to enforce it on similar cases, then why have it first place ? Overule the case based on its pettynes, and no more sysops will have to fear when they protect pages. --[[User:Hagnat|People's Commissar Hagnat]] [[User talk:Hagnat|talk]] - [[Special:Listusers/sysop|mod]] 02:37, 8 June 2008 (BST)
== reporting harassment in the wiki. ==
I would like to complain about a case of harassment. Since I'm not very practical with the use of UD Wiki I may be mistaken in reporting here but I hope you can help me nonetheless.
I deleted the harassing from my user talk, but who did it, namely user Dhavid Grohl, has filled his own talk with it, too. He goes on calling me a zerger, and what's most disturbing me a rapist. I don't think this wiki is the place for this sort of abuse even if it were true. He is harassing me in the brainstock forums and in game too, and I would like something to be done about him. I'm fed up with being persecuted and repetitively abused and harassed by him.
Thank you for your interest and any help you can provide.
Regards
Hikari Kisugi.
:Well, if it is any consolation he is tangling with Grim now. Feel free to delete anything he posts on your talk page. As far as Brainstock goes, I would suggest reporting that to any mods on there to see what their policy is and what they can do to help you. --{{User:Nubis/sig}} 18:10, 9 June 2008 (BST)
==Manhunt==

You know what?  I'm gonna sum everything up in one shot.  The eligible areas are the suburbs in the southwestern corner in a 3x3 square (Nixbank, Wykewood, South Blythville, Foulkes Village, Ruddlebank, Lockettside, [[The Arkham Sisters]], and Spicer Hill).  The rules:
#No sleeping in malls.  Malls are only used for resupplying.
#Most kill wins (whether zombie or survivor).  Time limit is a month.
#No noninvolved characters' help.
I'm pretty sure that's everything...Think we should reinvite Seventythree and SA?  As you know...the more the merrier. --{{User:Axe Hack/Sig}} 22:33, 9 June 2008 (BST)
:Of course. --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 22:35, 9 June 2008 (BST)
::And I bet in a few hours, more people are gonna ask to join...And by the time we get like 10 people in this, we're gonna have to expand the territories.  Care to place a wager?  I'll bet an evil cookie. --{{User:Axe Hack/Sig}} 22:42, 9 June 2008 (BST)

::::I hope you know that this is a No Alliances Manhunt... --{{User:Axe Hack/Sig}} 19:12, 10 June 2008 (BST)
:::::We've had two manhunts - one was every man for himself and the other was teams. The next hunt is planned to be no teams yet again, so we're fine with this. But yeah I really think if you haven't already you should contact [[DDR]] about this - he'd be very interested and you might be able to trade ideas for how to run this and future hunts. :::::::::::We had a [[manhunt]] of 15 players and even 2x2, we realized, was too large for that. I was organizing a different sort of manhunt, where we all go for one person, and the player who kills him wins, but if you organize a manhunt, I could get the BBK to join, as well as a few ex-BBK members (don't worry, they are all trustworthy, they don't cheat). The only reason I didn't organize a new one myself was because I don't have the time at the moment, so if one of you guys tell us where to go and when the hunt starts, I'll give you everyones profile and we can have a free-for-all standoff! <u><big>[[User:DanceDanceRevolution|<span style="color:red;font-weight:bold">D</span>]]</big><nowiki>ance</nowiki><big>[[User Talk:DanceDanceRevolution|<span style="color:lime;font-weight:bold">D</span>]]</big><nowiki>ance</nowiki><big>[[User:DanceDanceRevolution/media|<span style="color:Aqua;font-weight:bold">R</span>]]</big>evolution</u> 02:04, 11 June 2008 (BST)

There's only a little problem in all this, the war is taking place in S.Blythville wich is one of the six suburbs of the tournament so ObiFF will have to be/roam that area. I give you my word that ObiCop will not kill anyone in S.Blythe and that I will not zerg but its up to you to vote if im in or not or maybe we can remove that suburb from the Manhunt (we have a mall for resuplying in Locketside). What do you say? --{{User:ObiFireFighter/sig}} 20:14, 1 July 2008 (BST)
*:::::::::Well...you can always stay away from South Blythville.  I think the zerging measures will come into play if you're characters are a few blocks away from each other...Which is why I usually keep my characters at least a suburb apart.  And there's 9 suburbs...it's 3x3.  We can completely eliminate S. ===Rules===
#No sleeping in Malls.  Malls may only be used for resupplying.
#You may not enlist the help of anyone not involved in this Manhunt. (ie: Broadcasting on the radio that one of the contestant is KOS.)
#Most kills win, whether as a zombie or a survivor.  A screenshot must be provided to validate the kill.
#No teaming up with other contestants. (ie: Player1 and Player2 may not "tag team" on Player4)
#This Manhunt will take place in a 3x3 square in the Southwestern corner.  Those suburbs are: Nixbank, Wykewood, <s>South Blythville</s>, Foulkes Village, Ruddlebank, Lockettside, [[The Arkham Sisters]], and Spicer Hill.  If you sleep in another suburb besides the one listed here, your kill count will be deducted by one.  A screenshot of the suburb (everything else may be blacked out, except for your character name) may be taken to prove you're in the Manhunt areas.  If you do provide a screenshot, they must be timestamped.
#No zerging.
----
If you suspect someone is cheating, get a screenshot of the suspicious activity and it will be voted on by the other players to determine if it is considered cheating or not.  Cheaters may have their entire kill count reset back to zero, or be disqualified from the Manhunt.
I think that's all the rules... --{{User:Axe Hack/Sig}} 15:06, 22 June 2008 (BST)
:Can we just say cheating is incredibly lame and that anyone who cheats sucks? Setting a penalty for cheating makes it a valid tactic. I mean sleeping in a dif burb makes you virtually impossible to kill and for only 1 kill cost? Sounds reasonable. I think if you get caught out of the area you should be automatically DQed and that everyone should be strongly discouraged from doing so as its pretty fakin lame.--{{User:J3D/ciggy}} 08:32, 23 June 2008 (BST)

::::Homogenising the two sides is a bad idea, and it doesnt lead to fun. All it results in is that humans can easily undo the work of zombies in one session (Because zombies have to move on to find food, and rarely crowd building devoid of life with 50+ bodies if they werent first eating life there). Humans basically would get free rebuilding over time safish behind EHB cades which gave them a search buff. Whoop. Almost as broken as Jon Pyres suggestion. Attempting to give each side their equivalent benefits doesnt work because the mechanics for either side are fundamentally different. In this case, you would end up with survivors getting free max almost everywhere except in the middle of a holocaust while easily being able to undo zombie efforts anywhere with even a mild amount of metagame and a sacrificial suicide repairer. --[[User:Grim_s|The Grimch]] [[Project UnWelcome|U!]] [[Project Evil|E!]] 16:55, 21 July 2008 (BST)

I understand that the "What links here" page for templates may be inaccurate due to something called ''Subst''. What, extactly, is ''Subst'' and how can I tell if a template is effected by it? Thanks! --{{User:Pedentic/Sig}} 03:34, 8 August 2008 (BST)
:Well, I hit the picture on the template and noticed that a copy of the template was there in the "Links" section of the image. I noticed that the code was just copied, instead of the standard <nowiki>{{Template}}</nowiki>. Subst is just an easy way to to call the templates code, useful for protection against people editing the template and altering what you originally wanted the template used for. It's likely they did <nowiki>{{Subst:Revenge}}</nowiki> or copied the code directly. --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 04:23, 8 August 2008 (BST)
::I'm not terribly familiar with wikicode, so I'm not quite following your explanation. You said you noticed a copy of the template in the picture's "Links" section and that tipped you off. Shouldn't the template have been listed there anyway because it included that picture? --{{User:Pedentic/Sig}} 04:31, 8 August 2008 (BST)
:::No, the "what links here" only includes links to the page or [http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Special:Whatlinkshere/Template:Urban_Dead inclusion] (calling the template). I hit the image and noticed that it was being used on a page so I took a look. --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 04:35, 8 August 2008 (BST)
::::So the only way to tell if a template is being ''Subst''-ed is to do a bit of digging? --{{User:Pedentic/Sig}} 04:37, 8 August 2008 (BST)

== I need your help ==
As you may have guessed I am Izumi and I need to speak with you, as you seem to be the only reasonable sysop left. Before you pass any judgment you should know the history of my case; I was banned unjustly over an accident, and got escalated to perma for using alts to leave sysops messages contesting it. Since I was banned, I have made many alts to circumvent the ban in hopes of being able to simply edit my group page in peace and not bother or be bothered by anyone. All I want is to be able my group page and my personal page. I have not committed a single act of vandalism in nearly a year, outside of circumventing my perma. I have no bad faith intentions I simply want to be left in peace. Unfortunately Grim refuses to let that happen as it is "against the rules" despite the fact I have personally witnessed him bend the rules many times before for people he favors. There is no government to uphold here, I am not trying to trespass on sacred ground; I just want to be able to manage my affairs. Please help me, there must be something you can do to help me end this cycle. [[User:Justice|Justice]] 05:22, 27 August 2008 (BST)
:You have shown a flagrant disregard for the rules and guidelines of this wiki. Furthermore, you promised me, eleven months ago, that you would not consider returning for a year. given the fact that the year ends in over two weeks, and you have been around as illusionist since march, on and off, i think its fairly safe to say that your word isnt worth the breath its uttered on, or the bandwidth you waste to convey it digitally. You had your chance, you knew the rules, and you decided to break them more often than any other user in the history of this wiki. --[[User:Grim_s|The Grimch]] [[Project UnWelcome|U!]] [[Project Evil|E!]] 11:20, 27 August 2008 (BST)
:Why don't you get another member of your group to edit the page, through your forum? Why do you insist on making more alts? --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 22:01, 27 August 2008 (BST)
::After a several month hiatus I returned to UD to find most of my group gone; I am in the process of recruiting more members but for the time being it would be nearly impossible to make the updates. It's not as though I am asking for much; Simply allow me access to my group and user pages, that's all. If not at least please stop ruthlessly hunting down my new accounts as if I am some sort of plague; Just pretend I'm someone else. If I've proven anything in the last eleven months its that I'm NOT a vandal and I am most certainly not a threat to this wiki that you guard so fiercely. Quite unlike Grim has so eloquently stated, I do not disregard the rules; I respect them fully. I do not cause any conflict, I do not vandalize pages, I don't so much as troll a user. I have absolutely zero "bad faith", which, according to the wiki guidelines is the sole defining element of vandalism and of vandals themselves, that is to say, they have to WANT to cause problems. I can't make it any more clear than that. This entire situation is ludicrous and I wouldn't need to make "sockpuppets" if I were given a fair chance at redemption. [[User:Restitution|Restitution]] 04:36, 28 August 2008 (BST)
:::Oh, just to prove my point, I went ahead and pulled this from the vandalism policy page. ''"The issue is not punishment - we do not punish vandals. The only aim with warnings and bans is to attempt to stop the vandal from continuing to vandalise the wiki. We are more than willing to let reformed vandals continue to edit this wiki, if their edits are a good faith attempt to improve this wiki."'' [[User:Restitution|Restitution]] 06:45, 28 August 2008 (BST)
:::If you respected the rules at all you would have abided the bans you recieved in the first place and lived with them. As it is, you are the most prolific rule breaker that this wiki has ever seen, beating every single multiple account troll vandal that has ever hit this place. It goes without saying that you are, once again, banned from this wiki. You gave me your word in september 07 to leave this wiki alone for a year, and you broke your word in march this year. So dont come expecting any kind of sympathy, or special pleading, because it isnt going to happen. --[[User:Grim_s|The Grimch]] [[Project UnWelcome|U!]] [[Project Evil|E!]] 13:14, 28 August 2008 (BST)
:::Also, you just dont get it. If we let you back in at all, then we set a bar, at least in the minds of everyone, for how annoying people have to be before they get let back in as well. It only makes problems for us all much worse and would reduce the place to smoking rubble. --[[User:Grim_s|The Grimch]] [[Project UnWelcome|U!]] [[Project Evil|E!]] 13:18, 28 August 2008 (BST)
::::It seems you have forgotten that I was wrongly banned to begin with, which is why I even started making new accounts. I don't see why what I have done in the past makes any damn difference anyway, nothing I have done in any of my alt accounts have constituted vandalism except for simply ''existing''. If I have shown anything it is that I do not conform to said above definition of "vandal" and hence should be immediately unbanned for that alone, otherwise the policy guidelines are giving false information (albeit I know it will not be that simple, as you have a habit of worming such things around to fit your interests). Why don't we give Gnome a chance to reply? In case you haven't noticed, you are NOT the sole sysop of the wiki and by extension you are NOT its dictator; you have no more say in my fate than any other administrator. At the least I feel I should at least receive a permaban vote, something I was denied when I was first perma'd. And as for your claims that "This place will turn to smoking rubble", as I have said many times, ''get a grip man! Its a video game instruction manual for heaven's sake!'' Why can't you vent your obsessive personality somewhere else, like on Xbox or something? [[User:Valiance|Valiance]] 14:09, 28 August 2008 (BST)
:::::Oh and Grim here's something for you, pulled straight off of your user page: ''I take my position seriously and will always do what i feel is both right and within the rules of the wiki.''
Now please see the above rule I already took the liberty of pasting here. If you indeed follow the rules as closely as you say you do-without manipulating them in any way- then you must indeed unban me immediately for lack of bad faith and if not then honor the new rule guaranteeing a permaban vote. If you want to lawyer things up then that's what we'll do. [[User:Valiance|Valiance]] 14:28, 28 August 2008 (BST)

Really. Perhaps there were a few harsh word directed at you, particularly warning #2 but you certainly were not unjustly banned. Regardless, this becomes a bit irrelevant after you look at all the many, many alternate accounts you used. Please stop making alternate accounts, and get a group member to edit your group page for you if you must. If there are no group members left, your group is defunct and it shouldn't matter, right? --{{User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig}} 23:07, 31 August 2008 (BST)
:Actually, looking at the list, several of those accounts aren't even mine, which translates to Grim banning innocent people in his pursuit of me. Well done there, I can only laugh at you. As for me leaving, its not going to happen. You really should know that by now. I will be here FOREVER. There is NOTHING you can do to change that. I've been try to go about this in a civilized and professional way, but that has obviously failed. The only reason you have detected the accounts you have is because I intended it to be so, mostly because I used them to speak with you on my behalf (with the exception of Illusionist, and that took you 8 bloody months). I have many, many accounts that you haven't discovered yet, and I've used them to spread my will in various ways, from voting on suggestions to chatting with members of the various groups I am involved with. Good luck on your witch hunt, please take care not to ban innocent people this time. [[User:Aquatechnic|Aquatechnic]] 03:33, 1 September 2008 (BST)
::A few of those were retroactively linked to you by IP addresses you used. Specifically, Tuong Lu Kim through Moderator Man. They had already been permad for huge amounts of vandalism. You acting up after being banned a large number of times, then trying to sweep it under the rug. The only reason i didnt spot illusionist at the time was because i was on a wikibreak, and you were not very active at all. No innocents have been banned. --[[User:Grim_s|The Grimch]] [[Project UnWelcome|U!]] [[Project Evil|E!]] 03:51, 1 September 2008 (BST)

My talk page:

When leaving new messages, just hit the "+" symbol for a new header.

I may or may not respond here, depending on who you are.
Unless you're a mudkip, in that case the response will be a knife to the knee.

Other talk pages:

A tip for making a talk page: Keep it simple, don't over organize like this and remember to archive, to prevent duplicate headers and general annoyance.
