A BeginningAt the beginning of the outbreak, the recently dead began to rise. With them, the jazz legend Charlie Mingus found his way to the surface, and into Malton. Shambling along to a walking bass line, he found his way across the city, and into a Necrotech facility. One quick stick later and Charlie was back in the land of the living, a little stiff, but otherwise fine. With his new found breath of life, Charlie began to walk through the city he'd find himself inside. And he was disappointed. Everywhere he turned, everywhere he listened, there was no music. He could not find a single note amongst the thousands of survivors, or the zombie hordes that controlled much of the city. And this made him confused, sad, and angry.
