So immediately after learning about the outbreak in Malton I grabbed my AK and got on the next flight out of Izhevsk." However Kalashnikov could not travel with ammuntion and figured he would pick up a case or two when he arrived. Little did he know Malton city council banned assault rifles within city limits after the Kinch Heights massacre in 1998.
