| Here can be found fragments of news posted during the restoration of King Murek's army in 2007, although older news from 2006 has long since been lost:

|
| |
| December 2007
| |
|
| |
| 22nd December 2007 - King Murek's Army is currently dividing it's efforts between helping with the rebuilding of Peascoside, processing revives and giving aid to the recapture of Dulston. In other news, King Murek's Army research division has released a research paper stating that 9 out of 10 of Malton's zombies can tell the difference between a human and a snowman.
| |
|
| |
| 12th December 2007 - Another co-ordinated strike with members of the Dulston Alliance has ended with survivors once more in control of the Inman Necrotech Facility. King Murek's Army hopes that we can hold the building through the long night ahead.
| |
|
| |
| 11th December 2007 - King Murek's Army continues to pursue our struggle against the MoB and other zombie groups currently occupying the Inman. While it is doubtful at the moment KMA on its own could hope to capture the Inman, we hope that by our actions we can contain and slowly sap the zombie defenders inside the Inman. In other, unrelated news King Murek's Army research division has finished their current highly scientific tests and apparently snowballs have no real affect on zombies. Even when thrown at the head. Oh well, back to the drawing board.....
| |
|
| |
| 6th December 2007 - King Murek's Army has responded to the newest zombie threat by participating in a co-ordinated assault on a zombie horde holding the Clewett building. King Murek is said to be "cautiously optimistic" regarding the Dulston Alliance's chances of holding the building, while King Murek's Army representative, Nirras has been heard praising the benefits of the recent increase in Dulston Alliance group co-operation.
| |
|
| |
|
| |
| November 2007
| |
|
| |
| 23rd November 2007 - While King Murek's Army representatives are cautious to declare victory too soon, there can be little doubt that the war with the Flat Earth Society is, if not won, at least progressing in favor of KMA and our allies. While the warriors of KMA have shown great courage, strength, and cunning during this conflict the main reason for success is attributed to an increased level of communication with our allies. Thanks to our recent allegiances and information sharing with the mighty Pescodside Defense Alliance, our staunch allies the Friends of the Featherstone Library, and our brothers-in-arms among the Dulston Alliance we have all helped make the northeast corner a slightly safer place for survivors.
| |
|
| |
| 17th November 2007 - It's a sad day indeed when King Murek's Army has to take up arms against another group of survivors, but that day, unfortunately has dawned. A new group has emerged, the Flat Earth Society (FEZ). These strange madmen seem dedicated to ruining scientific discourse with their constant arguments that the world we know to be roughly spherical is, in fact flat. Now, while King Murek's Army is not against strange madmen as such, the fact that they reinforce their arguments by shooting anyone who disagrees with them seems to indicate that they need to be stopped. As such, KMA has officially declared, along with the Dulston Alliance, that the Flat Earth Society members are to be killed on sight.
| |
|
| |
| 14th November 2007 - A lone zombie needs revivacation at the Prior Monument at (99,10) in Pescodside. Whoever is in the area should swing around and help add on more human to our side.
| |
|
| |
|
| |
| September 2007
| |
|
| |
| 14th September 2007 - Well, attacks have slowed down, and sometimes stopped altogether. Even the infamous St. Bartholemew's Hospital, known for being a popular target, is relatively safe. For a given level of safe anyway. With our home suburb of Pescodside secure and neighboring suburbs once again safer it seems that it is almost time to congratulate ourselves, put our feet up and enjoy a hot drink of our choice. The battles seem to be tailing off, but the war is not quite won yet.
| |
|
| |
| 2nd September 2007 - The combined effects of several zombie hordes on Dulston and surrounding suburbs have once again taken their toll on KMA members, with several killed after the fall of Lentell Walk PD. KMA continues to work with our DA allies to recapture some of Dulston, sending out occasional raids to the mall and reviving who we can. Revives may be a little delayed.
| |
|
| |
|
| |
| August 2007
| |
|
| |
| 20th August 2007 - It seems that King Murek's Army cannot escape the zombie horde currently devastating Dulston and the surrounding suburbs. After a particularly nasty zombie attack many of KMA's members where killed. Now we have recovered temporarily the Prior Monument Revive point is back in operation. People waiting to be revived are asked to be patient while we deal with the backlog. Long term plans include retaking the hospital and Police department.
| |
|
| |
| 3rd August 2007 - The situation at the moment could be summed up easily with "could be better, could be worse". Certainly the attacks on Dulston and other NE suburbs have taken their toll on loyal KMA members, and a few PKers still hanging around still seem to want to cause trouble, yet inside the headquarters itself, and in large areas of Pescodside things have been relatively quiet, even allowing for a discussion as to the nature of Finnish baseball. Not that we expect the situation to remain calm for much longer, but it is enjoyable while it lasts.

| |
|
| |
| July 2007
| |
|
| |
| 30th July 2007 - The situation in Pescodside and Dulston has taken a turn for the worse. With large groups of zombies attacking important buildings in both suburbs. KMA has been assisting in efforts to hold the Inman building, and has also been maintaining a revive point for fellow survivors. Hopefully we can lend a hand to the defense of our suburb.
| |
|
| |
| 22nd July 2007 - Well, today is a glorious day for King Murek and his army! Not only are we now official members of the Dulston Alliance, we also welcome our newest recruit, theforgottenwarrior. A very apt name for joining an Army, as I'm sure you will agree! He's a little new at the moment, so don't forget to show him the ropes, we're all sure that in time he will be as powerful as the best of us.
| |
|
| |
| 13th July 2007 - Another assassination attempt was made on King Murek by Enid. Thankfully Agent 019 was able to kill her before she did any serious damage. However she did manage to get a radio broadcast out before she died. We must be the only group in the game that is constantly being harassed by a children's author! KMA looks forward to the day when we get a few hours peace and quiet...
| |
|
| |
| 8th July 2007 - Fighters from King Murek's Army have been able to help liberate St Bartholemew's Hospital from the undead. The hospital is barricaded and regularly checked on my King Murek's Army, but still requires a radio, a generator, fuel and a strong survivor presence. Any help completing this would be much appreciated.
| |
|
| |
| 6th July 2007 - Well, another day has dawned, and King Murek's Army still hold their Headquarters. Zombie levels in and around the area have dropped, and we welcome a new member, Vassili Zeitsev into the army. Now we can go back to concentrating on maintaining our Revive point, and holding useful buildings in the area. Thanks to FotFL and the band of Independent survivors who have stood their ground with KMA.
| |
|
| |
| 2nd July 2007 - The last report has proven to be incorrect. Dead Animals have stepped up their attacks, both in frequency and hostility. A series of break-ins have claimed casualties amongst FotFL members, as well as the valiant King's Men. Whether the recent attacks have been directed solely at FoFL members residing in the King's Land, or at King Murek's Army, we plan to stand side-by-side with our firm allies. Thanks also goes out to the many independent survivors, who have rallied round to defend King Murek's Army.

|
| |
|
| |
| June 2007
| |
|
| |
| 29th June 2007 - KMA has just fought off and defeated an attack by a zombie group known as Dead Animals. While the attack was brutal, and a friendly survivor tragicaly shot in a case of mistaken identity It was nice to fight an actual zombie attack, as opposed to sneaky murderers. So, Dead Animals, nice try, but no cigar.
| |
|
| |
| 28th June 2007 - With many recent attacks from PKer's on our allies, the Friends of the Featherstone Library within our own headquarters King Murek himself has sanctioned the hunting down and killing of all known PKers within KMA territory. Hunters are advised to check out police departments, the mall and surrounding buildings. They must be sourcing ammunition from somewhere. Happy hunting!
| |
|
| |
| 21st June 2007 - Well, Enid turned up for a while, sprayed some graffiti around and generally annoyed everyone before a Non-King Murek's Army member killed her. It was speculated that the reason she was not killed earlier was that no-one could believe that she had decided to spend nearly the whole day in the HQ without being pardoned for her earlier crimes. Strange person...
