| Founded in March 07 by [[User:Brainz|Dr'Brainz]] around the concept of [[Salt the Land]], the group rapidly attracted interest from a variety of dedicated zombies bored of the usual UD gameplay and wanting to try something different. Starting with the NW corner suburb of [[Dakerstown]], Extinction quickly spread the infection to its three neighbours and then on to [[Quarlesbank]] and [[Caiger Mall|Caiger]]. Over the last year and a half the [[Extinction/Command Zones|Extinction Zone]] has expanded and contracted as far east as [[Chancelwood]], southeast to [[Shearbank]] and down south to the Blythvilles.
