History

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single suburb in possession of a fortune must be in want of a fleapit cinema. Hence: the Banger. Dirty in every sense of the word, the Banger ranked alongside the equally notorious Crabbe Bank as Wykewood's prime purveyor of filth, venereal disease and Charles Bronson. Indeed, "going out for Bangers and Crabbes" at the weekend was a popular pastime for scruffy youths from 'the wrong side of the tracks', and continues to be so for contemporary consumerists.

Current Status

Despite the excitement of a brief turf war between some of Lorenzo Fontinelle's goons and some jacked up deadheads trying to peddle speed out of Theatre 3, The Banger has fallen into ruin as of 2019. The doors remain wide open and the interior has been ruined for months. Every few weeks you'll see a deadhead try and set up shop but they always end up leaving when they realize there's no more clientele.
