Description
.
Colglough Library is a building in northern Judgewood, adjacent to the Perceval Building and Brentnall Grove Police Department. Upon its completion shortly before the Malton Incident, it was hailed as a "fine example of sustainable architecture" with features such as a green roof, rainwater harvesting and a passive stack ventilation system. The building was constructed as part of a regeneration project taking place in that particular part of Judgewood, and took almost two years to complete. Inside, the library boasted a collection of over 50,000 books (including a collection of rare books), musical scores, CDs and DVDs.
Once the zombies began to take hold of Malton, the library became (and still is) a constant target dues to its proximity to the strategically-important NecroTech and police buildings nearby. As the library was repeatedly ruined, many of the literary works inside were destroyed (although books can still be found by those who are determined enough to search for them), and the once-gleaming glass façades became bloodstained or smashed by gunfire.
Nowadays, Colglough Library serves a vital task as an entry point.
History
On the week of September 16 - 22 2007, the Quartly Study Group on Tour partied in the Colglough Library and assisted in reclaiming Judgewood from Extinction.
