Talk:Anarchist Basterds
The base summary of Anarchy is the general statement that a lack of government is best, and that the individual is ultimitally the source of action. By forming a group of anarchists, you have ironically formed a governing group of individuals, thus undoing the base idea of anarchy. Damn, I hate irony :\
In addition: I don't understand what grinds your gears about Necrotech, what with their reviving of fallen survivours. John Ibans 15:51, 3 October 2009 (BST)
Wrong, my friend. Lack of government is not chaos, so organisative anarchist groups are essential. In fact, anarchists, throughout history, organised themselves in communes, syndicates and labour unions. Anarchism is not an individualist ideology, you got it all wrong. About NecroTech, we don't hate and we don't fight the NecroTech workers; only the NecroTech big bosses who created and developed the virus. User:Martino
- From where I sit in the blasted city, a lack of government sure as hell has a lot of chaos going for it. It seems that the more and more people who crop up claiming to be a government (I hear one group has even decided that a suburb is a nation, and all "aliens" in it will be killed), the more chaotic things get. We seem to have an anarchy of competing non-governmental self-declared groups pushing their version of what they have decided is the "right" thing. Organisative groups of any sort seem to do nothing except keep the barricades up... excuse me. John Ibans 16:17, 3 October 2009 (BST)
- Sorry about that, I had to install a new sunroof in the head of some zed that broke in. Anway, the only thing people seem to do in here is keep the barricades up a little bit longer. The anarchist philosophy may allow for organised anarchist groups, but the instant those groups gain a sembelence of influence over others, they become a govering group, contrary to the creed of no government. (also, depending on which writer you ask, anarchism is either completly individualistic, or a bunch of people living together making decisions a la mobocracy.) is enjoying in-character dicussion John Ibans 16:24, 3 October 2009 (BST)
True that some anarchists have a individualistic philosophy; that's why we made very clear that we support anarcho-communism - that's totally different. If a group, however, wants do dominate another, they are no longer anarchists, don't matter what they say - maybe they are a bounch of right-wing libertarians, maybe they are just stupid. About the chaos thing, what I wanted to say is that lack of government does not have to chaos necessarily. Second, we cannot be responsible for what other people do; if you have a problem with their actions, talk to them directly. All we want is to gather a group of people that thinks the same way we do, wants to live the same way we do, spread our message and what we believe is right, fair and best for the city and leave freely. We do not want to oppress and we don't want to be oppressed. And, very important, we only kill zombies. We do not believe in violence against living beings. We only engage on symbolic violence (e.g. blowing up a statue of a president or dictator). User:Martino
