And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.
- Edgar Allen Poe, "The Masque of the Red Death"
Escape has failed. Ellicott Place was ransacked and ruined many days before June 1st. The movement, at large, was slowly devoured by the combined might of the slavering zombie hordes. A handful of weary survivors clung on for four days. At the estimated train arrival time, they ran a doomed charge into Ellicott Place, and straight into the carnivorous clutches of the undead...
...For what seemed an eternity, those who knowingly accepted their fate and future as the undead stood with those who had done so much to terrorise and barbarise and cannibalise them in the weeks previous... and they began to understand the allure...
Some of us will turn to operation lemmings, that's fine. Less resistance for the rest of us. Even if you're not at Ellicott Place Railway Station, you may want to jump out of a tall building now and join the Red Death legion. If we can't escape, no one can. Let's turn the map red.
Escape harman consciousness this summer. Escape a life of worry and paranoia. The crushing inevitability of death. The futile search for resources. The seductive insecurity of safehouses. The absurdity of a bourgeois survivor lifestyle. Being just another waste of flesh and breath in the stagnant survivor stalemate that is Malton today.
If you truly want an escape with Summer, escape your harman shackles... who needs mobile phones, abstract art, power and lighting when you have Barhah, as much food as you can eat and endlessly entertaining encounters with the unenlightened!
The Plan
The initial phase is simple, with a large portion of survivors dead from the failed escape plan, our numbers will grow. Let's roll with Big Bash 3 for a while and turn the tides even more in our favour. Then, when the harmanz are at their weakest, we ruin every NecroTech in town. No more revives. The Red Death.
What can I do?
For now, roll with the hordes of Big Bash 3. Head to Stanbury Village and prepare to kill as many as possible! Have fun, death rattle and entertain. Spend some valuable time as a zambah and learn what it's like from their side of the equation. Many people who joined Escape barely had zombie skills or experience - getting involved with Red Death is your way of rectifying that!
We need publicity, so if you don't want to kill yourself yet, become a graffiti artist. Travel the 'burbs spraying propaganda in all well populated places.
