Urban Dead Tournament Edition
Timestamp: Ishmael7 (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2015 (UTC) |
Type: A New Edition of this Game |
Scope: It will not affect the anything in the current edition of this game |
Description: I propose that a new "Tournament Edition" of Urban Dead in addition to the current version of the game (which I will call the "Standard Edition"). This Tournament Edition would continually cycle through 90 day rounds. Every three months, the game would start over again and everybody would begin from scratch (having lost all their skills from the previous round). Also, the map would be considerably smaller.
In the Tournament Edition, only 10% of players (or less) would begin as zombies. However, there would be no revives so the number would grow as the game progressed. By the end of the 90 days, the majority of people would be zombies. Those who survived could proudly describe themselves as true survivors. The survivor who killed the most zombies would win the round and receive many internet points for being the most competent survivor. The Tournament Edition of the game would be entirely optional and separate from the Standard Edition so it would have no effect on those who prefer the status quo. However, I believe it would provide a fun alternative which would breath some life into the game. I'm very interested people's opinions on this suggestion. What are your thoughts??? |
Discussion (Urban Dead Tournament Edition)
Sounds like you might be interested in Quarntine 2019. It's a different game in this same vein, but it operates in rounds, after which either the survivors or the zombies win. Survivors need to research a cure. Zombies need to prevent them from doing it. Might be up your alley. —Aichon— 00:16, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- I had an idea like this, maybe they could put in a piece of clothing for participants in an event, the clothes prevents a revive until the event is over. Like a UD hungergarmes haha JoshCz (talk) 13:18, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
Bartender
Timestamp: JoshCz (talk) 18:08, 19 April 2015 (UTC) |
Type: Skill |
Scope: Humans |
Description: A secret skill that can only be unlocked by buying skills a certain way. Bartenders can give beer and wine to other survivors. Bartenders keep the life up in the game by bringing extra joy to your favorite pub. |

Implement Suggestions
Timestamp: Kamikazie-Bunny (talk) 19:43, 15 April 2015 (UTC) |
Type: Game Breaking |
Scope: Everyone |
Description: Quite simple really:
Implement all peer reviewed suggestions. Undecided suggestions are decided by a coin flip; heads, they are implemented, tails they are not. Kevan flips. Peer Rejected suggestions are discarded. |
Discussion (Implement Suggestions)
Disagree, I think game experimenting would be interesting, I'm trying to bring friends into the game, gotta see how well that works. If I'm successful I could get a whole college (U.S.) playing UDJoshCz (talk) 21:19, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- I would support a suggestion that talks about playing with the balance of UD, it would be fun to see what would actually happen if many things were just added to the game. I'm trying to do my part to bring in players, and new game mechanics may be enticing to new people and old people alike.JoshCz (talk) 01:18, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
Weapons from Museums
Timestamp: Jerran 06:17, 11 April 2015 |
Type: New Item drops |
Scope: More weapons, more use for muesums |
Description: I think that Kevan should add (assuming he ever considers updating the game again) museums of piracy and medieval history, and we should be able to scavenge weaponry and obtain clothes from these museums. |
Discussion (Weapons from Museums)
I would like the costumes, nost 100% on the weapons though.JoshCz (talk) 22:41, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
