Leon Vulcan was a NecroTech security guard, and when Malton's worker-filled streets were replaced by the walking dead, he was converted into a full-time NecroTech Employee. He is somewhat like a mix between a soldier and a scientist. He reconnoiters, gathers and analyzes information on the zombies, as well as enters combat and helps hold NecroTech facilities and fight the dead. Vulcan also is an independent Bounty Hunter. He searches for those who barbarously murder innocent people and deals justice.
He continues to gather research on the dead and writes data in his tattered journal that he carries around everywhere. On his Flak vest, a row of Revivification Syringe holders are filled with the appropriate contents. A 9mm Pistol is in its holster on his thigh, and his knife is attached to his vest near the syringes.

Sam was a firefighter, searching for his brother, Leon. Eventually he gave up, and decided to help the Fire Department recapture the Fire Stations and fight the undead. One day, he hopes to cross paths with his brother. In remembrance of his family, he wears the Vulcan Family patch on one of the shoulders of his firefighter's jacket. His helmet's visor reflects the light around him, hiding his identity.
