King Murek's Army
History of the King's Army
King Murek's Army (KMA) was originally founded in 2006 as a pro-survivor group composed primarily of veteran Finnish warriors dedicated to protection of the home suburb, Pescodside. The group's title of 'Army' is at times a little misleading as a military background was, and is still not, required to enlist with the group. King Murek's Army has doctors, scouts, and even "JHas" (a fierce man, who we are glad is on our side). While combat skills are not essential it is recommended that members know the basics and the relatively large number of murderers, if not zombies, in the area will provide most new members with plenty of time to hone their skills. If your method of the fighting precludes group tactics you may be disappointed, as it is expected that all members follow an intelligent course of action by always radioing in for backup, alerting other survivors to potential threats, barricading, and reviving, as opposed to running in and shooting everything hostile. A revive point has been established and is maintained at the Prior Monument. In addition, KMA maintains two bases of operation, one being a local police station and the other a hospital, in order to provide diverse options to new members depending on their career choice within the group. Each member has the choice as to whether or not they wish to be involved with executing "criminals", but it is done at their own discretion. It should be noted though that the murder of innocent survivors or other anti-social behavior, to the extent where it damages the effectiveness or credibility of KMA, will get you kicked out of the group.

News
6th March 2008 - King Murek's Army is pleased to report that accoding to our highly scientific and clasified methods of zombie observation (stepping outside and having a bit of a look around) zombie levels in the area have decreased to pre-Big Bash levels. A fair few of our buildings are still smashed up and St Bartholemews is still occasionaly attacked. Revivication continues unhindered though, and rebuiding efforts are going strong.
11th February 2008 - After over 5 days of fighting the last few members of King Murek's Army fell defending our headquaters. Pescodside is in ruins and Dulston doesn't seem to be much better off. On the plus side, well, er.... Hmm... 8th February 2008 - The Friends of the Featherstone Library have joined us and we have redoubled our efforts to hold our headquarters. The zombies though are persistent and their numbers continue to grow. It seems like they know they have found a force of resistance here and are doing everything within their power to overrun us. Even so, we fight on for we do not fear death. 7th February 2008 - Five zombies were outside pounding on the barricades, a marked increase over the past few days as zombies from the Second Big Bash marches through Pescodside. So far King Murek's HQ has withstood the onslaught. We shall hold and persevere! Recruitment
