Wow, this is really terrible. Truly, it's as if you went out of your way to say all the wrong things and pass them off as helpful advice. Are you secretly a zombie sympathizer trying to trick the new survivor players into behaving in a counterproductive manner? I don't have the interest or attention span to tackle this whole guide, but there are a few specific points I'd like to address.
- Luring. This doesn't work. Any group of zombies big enough and organized enough to be worth luring is well aware of the possibility of harman spies, and will not rise to the bait. At best they'll send one or two scouts to check out the situation and report back. More likely, they'll just say something along the lines of "Yeah, right. Fuck off, breather," and then poke fun at your mother or the size of your penis.
- Intimidating zombies. You won't get far here. The only zombies that care at all about being hurt are the rare freaks that are trying to hold ground (these types), and newbies that don't have Ankle Grab yet and aren't a big threat anyway. Experienced zombies tend to like being shot at -- the AP you're using on killing them is far more than they use to recover, and it's AP that's not being spent on doing useful things like barricading, healing, searching up gear, and the like. By trying to daze these zombies with a ferocious attack, not only are you failing, you're playing right into their claws.
- Having a small number of dedicated builders and medics. This is just asking to lose. Zombies aren't blind when they attack, you know. If one guy is going to the front of the actives stack every time someone's hp jumps up or the barricades come up behind them, they'll figure out what's going on, and concentrate attacks on those guys. They die quick, and then you're neck deep in it.
I'm not going to spend all day on deconstructing this, but I think you probably ought to talk with some survivors that know what they're doing (perhaps the Randoms or the Dribbling Beavers), and start over completely with this. As-is, it's worse than useless. --Mold 00:19, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
