Elsworth Square School

Description

The Elsworth, as depicted by former pupil 'Fingers' Finlay. Finlay is the central figure in red, pickpocketing a fellow pupil; to the right is the top-hatted figure of Mr Morrisette, the loathed schoolmaster.

History

A former public primary school, during the 1970s Elsworth Square School was transformed into a secondary school and college of further education, as the teenage population of Foulkes Village expanded.
