Nexus War

Nexus War is a free online browser-based MMORPG inspired by and very similar to Urban Dead. Nexus War was in open beta since 22 May 2006, with things steadily being tweaked or added to. It was closed in 2009, ending in a massive celebration.

The main differences, besides changing the theme from zombies to angels and demons, were the vastly expanded class and skill system, the addition of magic and morality, the much smaller and more heterogeneous game world, the addition of actual geography, and a general increase in complexity and possibilities in almost all areas (groups, items, communication, etc) compared to UD.
