Q & A Time
1) How Did You Get Started?
A: Believe it or not, TechCom has been in service in one regard or another since April 2006. That year, I, JustinMullins, had just found himself surrounded by zombies in the Grigg Heights suburb. I was a cop who had been left behind. Over time, a destined meeting between myself and another user named LadyAG occurred. For a time, we took care of the NT Lab in the suburb. Eventually, TechCom was founded.
2) Wait, TechCom was founded in 2006? And you only have one member? Don't you think it's time to give up?
A: At one point, membership was going great. Unfortunately, over time most, if not all, members left the game. For some reason, getting others to join has not been going well.
3) Well, what are the perks of being a member?
A: You get to be revived first in case of death. You get healed first. You'll always have people at your back. And oh, you get to kill zombies, PKers, RKers, and GKers.
4) What is TechCom's goal?
A: Our top goal at the moment is to keep the Coram Building up and running and to help out the survivor group CORAM. Of course that is never the only goal. For example, at the moment, we are in the process of helping the group who operate out of the Preston Arms with a mission I am not at liberty to discuss further. Just recently TechCom reclaimed a ruined police department for people to take ammo and remove into.
What We DON'T Support
We DON'T Support The Following:
- Spies
- Combat revives
- Reviving zombies randomly outside of designated revive points that are not known friendly group members, both in ours and others
Our On Going Mission
TechCom has decided to make [The Coram Building The Coram Building] our indefinitely permanent residence. Along with CORAM, we are dedicated to protecting the emergency broadcasting system and bring Malton updates as they come in from the military. If you have absolutely ANY information, feel free to visit our forums about damaged buildings, your group, or hostile groups.
Active Missions
1. Heal The World
-Zombies are dangerous. PKers are dangerous. Malton is a dangerous place. With such a dangerous place, it is inevitable that your innocent survivor will get injured. TechCom will be setting out to heal 100 injured survivors to full health.
Mission Start: August 5, 2009
Survivors Healed: 22
2. Free Health Care
-Currently, TechCom is in the process of recruiting and taking residence in a hospital to bring it fully online so that all nearby survivors can sleep soundly at night knowing a FAK is within reach. A generator has been placed and now all that is necessary are more members and fuel.
Mission Started: January 30, 2010
Status: Failure
-Sadly, the hospital was not held for not before a small horde of zombies overcame the barricades. More members will be needed in the future.
